Acacia Gardens is proud to present a complete garden build in Ware, Hertfordshire. We worked with Garden Designer Bob Richmond Watson on this project. The remit included soft landscaping and hard landscaping to the front garden and back garden. Installing a block paving driveway and building a wall to the front of the property improved the kerb appeal. Work in the back garden included installing a patio, building bespoke storage, installing a fence and building retaining walls for the plants. We also improved the garden drainage after a flood occurred.

Complete Garden Build Project In Hertfordshire
Block Paving Driveway
We installed a block paving driveway using Marshalls block paving. It immediately transformed the approach to the property, giving it a low maintenance approach that looks smart.
Front Garden Wall
We built a brick wall in the front garden using red brick with Kandla Grey Sandstone Coping. The traditional appearance of the wall is in keeping with the property and helps improve the kerb appeal.
Patio Installation
We installed a patio area using Kandla Grey Sandstone from London Stone. The client now has a beautiful sunny spot in the garden to relax and enjoy alfresco dining and afternoon drinks in the sunshine.
Bespoke Storage
We build a bespoke cedar storage unit for the client. It is a useful unit that allows the client to store their garden entertaining equipment and can be used as an outdoor kitchen worktop.
Fence Installation
We installed a close board fence from Garden Trellis. The fence gives the client privacy from the neighbours. It also provides security. The natural colour of the wood gives the garden a natural backdrop.
Raised Beds
We built a series of raised beds in the garden. These were built using red bricks, Kandla Grey Sandstone and railway sleepers. We undertook the planting and also improved the lawn and drainage.
Acacia Gardens undertook the garden build on this project as per the garden design by Bob Richmond Watson. The main challenge was improving the garden drainage and soil after a flood had occurred before we began work. We also created a series of levels in the garden to add interest to the overall garden appearance. It was an intensive hard landscaping job but it was worth it, because the finished garden looked stunning.
