Established in 2003 and led by managing director Herman Pobrati, we specialise in bespoke garden design and build services, from complete residential transformations to individual projects such as patios, terraces, and planting schemes. Roles: Owner, Landscape Construction Consultant, Horticulturist and Project Manager
Strengths: Outdoor environmental quality enhancement, Smart and eco-friendly design, Native Landscaping, Sustainable social, economic and environmental design, Balanced design of form and function.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and then a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning. Extensive experience in the design of small urban spaces based on the principles of sustainable development, urban regeneration and passive spaces systems. Enthusiastic about implementing contemporary innovations and developments in outdoor spaces.

Emma Appleby
Garden Designer and Landscape Designer
Emma Appleby comes to Acacia Gardens with a wealth of experience. Emma ran her own successful garden design practice for well over a decade, with Acacia Gardens building many of her designs. This successful partnership resulted in Emma joining the team, as Acacia Gardens leading in-house designer.
Emma is passionate about the healing, restorative quality of gardens, along with improving wildlife habitats along the way. She has designed many beautiful gardens for clients across London and abroad, with a speciality for designing spaces with tricky slopes and levels.
Emma graduated from the English Gardening School at the Chelsea Physic Garden in 2007, with a Distinction in Garden Design. She is also an RHS Qualified Plantsperson.

Beatriz Blas Cabanes
Garden Designer and Planting Designer
Strengths: Garden Design, Extensive Horticulture Knowledge, Experienced Planting Scheme Planner.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Garden Design from Camilo Jose Cela University in Madrid, Garden Design at Capel Manor at Regents Park in London, Internship at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew London, over 8 years of experience working in the Garden Design and Soft Landscaping Industry.

Fatbardha Sinanaj
Garden Designer
Fatbardha, a certified garden designer from Capel Manor College, previously worked as an NHS employee for over seven years before transitioning to a career in garden design. She has a profound passion for the outdoor environment.

Gentian Sinanaj
Roles: Operations Manager and Landscape Consultant
Strengths: Outdoor environmental quality enhancement, Smart and eco-friendly design, Native Landscaping, Sustainable social, economic and environmental design, Balanced design of form and function.
Qualifications and Experience: SSSTS Qualified, with a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Engineering and Construction from the University of Tirana. Over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, including work on motorways, retaining walls, tunnels at elevations of up to 800 m above sea level, hydropower plants, hotels, and multidisciplinary construction developments. For the past 10 years, he has specialised in garden construction.

Remy Nela
Landscape Foreman
Role: Managing projects and teams on site. Works alongside the team to make sure our highest standards and quality is achieved all the time.
Strengths: Exceptional skills in project management, carpentry, irrigation, quality and attention to detail. Inspirational and trainee provider for all our Landscaping team.
Qualifications and Experience: Health and Safety and Level 2 electrical. Experienced as a skilled Landscaper since 2000.
